In June 2022, Gerrald and I crossed paths in Arusha, Tanzania. Our journey started through a relative who resides in Arusha, offering me a unique insight into the pressing needs of the children there. Witnessing the remarkable efforts being made to assist these vulnerable kids left a deep impression on me. It was in Tanzania that I truly understood how small gestures could create a significant impact.
We shared meals with the children, forming connections that stayed with us long after I returned to Zurich. The emotional resonance of that encounter fueled our determination to make a change. Once back in Zurich, Gerrald and I made the decision to establish a charitable organization dedicated to supporting Arusha’s street children.
After over a year of preparation, we are now at a point where we are ready to gather donations and make a lasting impact on the lives of these children. With a dedicated team in place, we opened our office in August 2023, creating a space that welcomes all street children.
